Bos is happy to inform you that the project DEN has been approved! BOS will be the coordinator of this project funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ KA2, and will be happy to work in cooperation with two other European incredible democratic schools in nature: Playa Escuela in Tenerife (Spain) and L’Albero della Tuscia in Farnese (Italy).
Responding to the needs of offering innovative pedagogical experiences that could foster children’s environmental stewardship and active citizenship, the project DEN has the ambition to systematise and disseminate a new developing approach that bridges Nature Pedagogy with Democratic Education (Democratic Education in Nature). Having the partner schools a long term experience in this domain, they will promote research on this pedagogical approach and its application in Europe, a series of workshops to exchange competences and training schools staff, and guidelines for new schools to put in practice democratic education in nature.
