BOS STAGES

ABOUT

Outdoor activities to discover the forest and its different seasons

forest discovery

Key Features

We spend as much time as possible time outdoors, in small group sizes with about 1 adult per 5 children, mixed-age, free play and child-led forest exploration (building, digging, balancing and climbing) in the Foret de Soignes.

We create themes for each day of the stage:

  • birds (recognising the bird and its sound)
  • trees (recognising the leaves, the seeds and the bark)
  • plants (naming, eating, labelling)
  • soil (making sculptures, collecting different coloured soils, painting with soils and even body-painting with soils)
  • child-friendly woodworking
